Data Protection Policy

This policy describes how Cydekick — an internal system used to manage and synchronise product, stock and order data across connected sales channels (including Shopify and marketplaces such as Temu) — handles personal data.

1. Scope

Cydekick is a self-developed, internal-use application. It is not offered to, or used by, any external third party. This policy applies to all personal data that passes through Cydekick in the course of order and customer management.

2. What personal data we process

Depending on the sales channel connected, Cydekick may process:

Customer name
Delivery / billing address
Phone number
Email address
Order details (items, quantities, order status, tracking)

This data originates from our connected sales channels (e.g. Shopify, Temu) and is used solely to fulfil orders — Cydekick does not sell, share, or otherwise use this data for any purpose beyond order and inventory management.

3. Where data is stored

Data processed by Cydekick is stored on our own server infrastructure. It is not transferred outside the United Kingdom / EEA as part of Cydekick's normal operation.

4. Access

Access to Cydekick is restricted to authorised personnel via individual login credentials. Access is not shared with any external party.

5. Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as needed to fulfil, support, and account for customer orders, in line with our obligations to our sales channel partners and applicable law.

6. Security

Cydekick is served over HTTPS/TLS. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are taken to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

7. Data breach notification

In the event of a suspected or confirmed personal data breach involving Cydekick, we will assess the breach and notify affected parties and/or relevant regulators as required under UK GDPR / the Data Protection Act 2018.
